Maggie Gyllenhaal found out how low the paparazzi can sink when they set off a fire alarm just to get her to bring her baby out on the street. Apparently, nothing provides a better photo opportunity than a distressed celebrity mother early in the morning. They don't care how you look, if you are in mourning, or even how early it is in the morning when you are a star. They just want to sell your face and it is all about the money.
The paparazzi will stand out in rain or snow for hours to get a picture of a celebrity. They should be considered stalkers because they will do whatever it takes to get the one picture that no one else has. Imagine what they could accomplish if they spent all that time on a job that didn't involve harassing people!
The paparazzi's main objective is to get a picture of a star that no one has ever gotten before. They want to be the first one to get the picture because then it is worth a lot more money. Of course, most of the resulting stories are made up of half-truths. When the paparazzi go after a celebrity, it must be like living in front of the camera every second of the day for that star. How would the paparazzi like it if someone shoved a camera in their face and wrote a story about the fight they had with their spouse the night before? Perhaps the stars should start taking pictures of the paparazzi! No wonder celebrities have large homes with large fences.
