What Celebrities are Getting Plastic Surgery?

According to the gossip rags at the grocery store, plastic surgery is alive and well! Every year the procedures seem to get better and with better results. Plastic surgery is expensive to have as most of the procedures are not covered by traditional medical insurance because it is considered elective surgery.  Celebrities seem to have enough money that this is not an issue and they want plastic surgery to make themselves look younger or better because of their constant exposure and scrutiny. Many of the celebrities are in the movies or are on television and their faces and bodies are up close and in person when the camera is on them. They want to look younger and better than they actually are. Hi-def has them running scared.

There have been some very bad plastic surgeries done on famous people. Mickey Rourke, Michael Jackson, Joan Rivers and Bruce Jenner are just some of the celebrity disasters that have been flogged in the rags. There seem to be more celebrities that have gotten plastic surgery than the list of those who have not had a procedure done!

According to the trades, all the big stars have had a plastic surgery procedure done, even if it was something minor. Some the them include Halle Berry, Mel Gibson, George Clooney, Jim Carrey and Katie Couric. George?  Really?? Halle?  She is gorgeous all on her own, I think.

Supposedly, most celebrities have had at least one botox injection or had their lips made bigger. The most well known stars with large lips are Sharon Osbourne, Cher, Demi Moore and Pamela Anderson. These gals have had this procedure done multiple times so that they can stay looking younger for longer. The problem seems to be knowing when to stop. Many celebrities have ruined their looks over the years due to too much plastic surgery. At least this is the talk around the water cooler!
