People involved in different sports activities are prone to mistakes. Sometimes those mistakes cause injuries, but many times those mistakes just make us laugh. Gymnastics is a great place to start. Take, for example, the female gymnast who is doing a series of back flips along the mats and does one too many and goes through the wall at the end of the mat. Sometimes the accident is caused by equipment failure. Imagine two female athletes jumping on to the bottom bar of uneven parallel bars and the entire set of bars comes crashing down on them. They are not physically hurt, just their pride.
Then we have a bicycle race in Europe. As two bicyclists are crossing a bridge, one reaches over and pushes the other one. They both go down, but the spectators are not happy. They rush out to help the one who was pushed, but one man beats on the pusher and then grabs him and throws him over the bridge into the river. The moral is don’t get caught cheating.
During a minor league baseball game between the Fresno Grizzlies and the Tacoma Rainiers, Brent Johnson of the Rainiers hit a high fly ball down the left field line. The ball is a high foul into the corner of the field. The Fresno left fielder just watched the ball go. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, the Grizzlies ball girl leaped up the wall in two steps and caught the ball. The left fielder stood there with his mouth open as the ball girl tossed him the ball. She walked unassumingly back to her chair as if it was no big deal.
