Children need constant love and attention, and have to be molded into the people they will eventually become, and yet, all on their own, they can often surprise parents and demonstrate humor and wit and an outlook on the world that is beyond their ages.
While each child has their own unique development path and their individualized sense of humor, most kids’ funny statements stem from their childish outlooks on the world. Take, for instance, the mom who let her son take her ultrasound scan to school one day, with which he showed off to his classmates and said “I know my mom's really got a baby in her belly now because I saw it on TV!” Of course, sometimes kids can let out quips that have a grain of truth to them. One child, when denied after asking for a new toy because the family couldn't pay for it, responded by telling his father, "Is it because mommy holds the purse and she doesn't let you?". But arguably one of the funniest, and hopefully untrue, childhood declarations is the response of a young man who didn’t want to go to school: "Why do I have to go to school when I'm never leaving home anyway?”
The great thing about children is that they have no censors like many adults do. If they have something to say, they say it. Sometimes it’s nonsense, sometimes it cuts you to the core, but these statements are usually always funny. Out of the mouths of babes....
