First Turkey

In the bed recuperating - saw a little news blip about turkeys.  It started with a closeup shot and I had to wonder WHO decided to eat something so ugly?  Honestly, the turkey is one ugly bird. But then it made me wonder about alot of firsts.

Who looked at a cow and decided to pull on those things??  Were they surprised that milk came out?  And when it did, how did they decide to drink it? And then put it in their coffee???

And what about mushrooms?  Who pulled up those dirty things and decided to eat them?  And who discovered that some were poisonous?  If they died, they couldn't tell anyone, right? 

And eggs... we see where they come from and yet someone decided to take an egg, crack it open, cook it up and eat it. 

We are SO germ conscious now.  I don't think these firsts would EVER happen today!
