Big doings out here in my neck of the 'WOODS' (yuk yuk) - the Tiger Woods Chevron World Challenge golf event is this week here in Thousand Oaks, CA, and Tiger isn't going to be here. The word is that he doesn't look so good. Today he talked about transgressions (plural) and the talk of my lady friends with whom I have spoken is that they hoped his wife used 9-iron because it had better loft. I KNOW I KNOW, it's mean. BUT as someone whose soon-to-be-ex-spousal-unit had his own "transgression", I can honestly say that I hope she whacked him hard! I KNOW I KNOW this is not nice, but now I understand why little boys punch things - it would have felt so good. One of my biggest regrets is that I did not punch my spousal unit in the nose when the seedy emails were discovered.
I am sure the email jokes will start up today. Some will be funny and some will provoke a groan, but, Mrs. Woods, to quote Bill Clinton "I feel you pain". And from what I see on the news, this is an epidemic. Men, Viagra, egos...they all add up. As my mom said, "If it has tires or testicles, it's gonna cause trouble." She was a wise woman...
