We start with a group date that is a photo shoot in Santa Monica with Corrie, Christina, Ashleigh H, Felicia, and models Gia and Rozlyn. This photo shoot will be in InStyle magazine. So there is makeup and hair, wardrobe and shirtless Jake. Afterwards, back at the hotel, drinks and some one-on-one attempts with interruptions, bikinis, underwater leg-wrapping, Rozlyn gets Jake on the roof for some smooches, but without Jake she seems to be scheming and planning. Rozlyn gets a rose. Oh, Jake, what you don’t know....
The one-on-one date card arrives with a fabulous diamond necklace and NO NAME. Another card finally comes and it is for Ali. She was the first girl out of the first limo on the first show, and is really cut and natural. I liked her right away. So in her lovely dress, all bejeweled, Jake picks her up and he is in a golf shirt! Off they go on a motorcycle to an airport and off they go to Palm Springs where a classic convertible awaits them. They drive to a beautiful lush green place where a dinner table and twinkle lights await them and they have a wonderful time, followed by a personal concert by the group Chicago. They dance and kiss and have a great time. She gets a rose.
One more group date to Six Flags Magic Mountain amusement park, open only to them. The girls are Elizabeth Jessie, Kathryn Ashley E. and Vienna. Elizabeth plays it smart and tells Jake not to kiss her until she is the last person left. he finds this sweet and old-fashioned. I want to slap him for not seeing the obvious. Later on, they all try to get Jake alone. Vienna tells Jake about her short, early marriage and Ahely E cuts in. The rose goes to Elizabeth - good no-kissing strategy! The others leave and Elizabeth proceeds to tease Jake verbally in a way that is obvious to all but Jake and rather sickening.
Back at the house, crazy Michelle is packing because she got no time with Jake. Some idiot talked her into staying. At the pre-rose-ceremony party, Jake asks Ella to talk, Tenley wants to tell Jake about her first marriage, but chokes, Michelle tears up in a creepy way but he finds it sweet.
THEN IT HAPPENS - Chris Harrison has to tell Rozlyn that she has been found out. He says she is guilty of inappropriate behavior with a staff member who has been fired. She is absolutely stone-faced and then tells him that her personal life is no one’s business. She has to pack and go, returning the rose. Chris has to tell Jake, who agonizes and goes with Chris to tell the girls. Tears of sorrow from some, pain for Jake in the eyes of others.
So with Ali and Elizabeth having roses and Rozlyn’s being returned, the one’s jake picks are Vienna, Gia, (Michelle rolls her eyes) Tenley, Ella, Felicia, Corrie, (Michelle exhales) Jessie, (Michelle and the eyes again) Ashley H, (Michelle closes her eyes and lowers her head) MICHELLE and then after Chris Harrison’s usual announcement of ‘the final rose tonight’, Kathryn. Previews show someone being asked to leave... stay tuned. I can’t wait for this to get down to one hour instead of 2. I just can’t look away...
